Step 1 — Quoting and booking

You call or submit a request with the basics: address, what the unit is for, how many people will use it, and how long. A dispatcher confirms availability, walks you through unit options, and emails a written quote with delivery, monthly or daily rate, servicing schedule, and any add-ons (ADA, hand-wash, COI). You confirm by phone or email, provide a credit card or a PO number, and we put you on the route.

Step 2 — Delivery confirmation

The afternoon before delivery, we send a text or email confirming a two-hour delivery window. If anything has changed about your site (gate code, contact person, placement preference, road closure), this is the moment to tell us — last-minute changes on delivery morning are the single most common cause of missed windows in our industry.

Step 3 — Delivery and placement

A driver in a marked Vesper truck arrives, walks the site if needed, places the unit on level ground, chocks it against rolling, and orients the door away from prevailing wind, public sightlines, and pedestrian flow. The unit is stocked with toilet paper, hand sanitizer, a urinal screen, and deodorant. You sign a delivery ticket — paper or electronic — and the driver leaves a copy.

Step 4 — Servicing during the rental

On long-term rentals you are placed on a recurring service route. Our technician arrives on your scheduled day, locates the unit, pumps the waste tank into a sealed tank on the vacuum truck, rinses the holding tank, refills the freshwater flush reservoir (on flushing units), replenishes toilet paper and hand sanitizer, applies deodorant, inspects the unit for damage, and leaves a service tag inside the unit. You receive a service report by email.

Step 5 — Relocations and changes during the rental

Construction sites move; events evolve. If you need a unit moved to a different part of your site, you need to add or drop units, or you need to upgrade or downgrade unit types, call dispatch. Most adjustments can happen on your next scheduled service stop; urgent moves can be scheduled separately.

Step 6 — Pickup and final invoicing

When you are done, call us — we pull the unit on your end date. A final invoice (or final service report, for prepaid accounts) goes out within a few business days. Honest providers do not invent end-of-rental fees; what you were quoted is what you pay.

What happens to the waste

All waste collected by Vesper vehicles is hauled to a permitted municipal wastewater treatment facility in San Diego County. We do not dispose of waste at unauthorized sites or in storm drains, ever. Our service drivers carry California Department of Public Health waste-hauler endorsements and complete annual hazmat and bloodborne-pathogen training.
